Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how CL Visual, Inc. ("CL Visual", "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses personal information through clvisual.com and the forms on it (the "Site"), and when you work with us on a project. It does not cover other websites we link to, such as clvgo.com or clvinstall.com.

Who We Are

CL Visual, Inc., 30 Reith Street, Copiague, NY 11726 · 631-464-4526 · hello@clvisual.com. We design, print and install vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, wall and architectural graphics, window films, signage and wide-format print for commercial and government clients.

Information You Give Us

When you request a quote, download a resource, apply for a job, authorize a payment or contact us, we collect the information you enter. Depending on the form, this includes your name, company, email address, phone number, number and type of vehicles, project details, how you heard about us, and any comments or files you send. If you apply for a position, we collect the information in your application and resume.

Project information. When you become a client, we keep the information needed to deliver your project: approved estimates and proposals, signed acceptances, vehicle details including VINs, pre-installation inspection photos, artwork and design proofs, approvals, change orders and payment records. Design proofs are reviewed and approved through Ashore, an online proofing service.

The Payment Authorization form is provided through Airtable. It collects the details needed to identify your invoice or project and record your authorization. Credit card information is not collected or stored in Airtable. Payments are processed through third-party payment service providers. Payment information may be collected and processed by the applicable provider in accordance with its privacy and security practices.

Information Collected Automatically

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used. It collects information such as pages viewed, time on page, referring page, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, and it uses cookies and similar identifiers to recognize your browser across visits.

Hosting and security. The Site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most hosting services, Cloudflare processes request data such as your IP address, browser information and the pages requested in order to deliver the Site and protect it from attacks. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to tell people from automated bots; it may evaluate device and interaction signals for that purpose.

Where Your Submissions Go

Form submissions are sent to our team by email through our email delivery provider, Resend, and are recorded in Airtable, which we use to track inquiries and projects. Copies may also remain in our email accounts and in our providers' activity logs and backups for the retention periods described below.

IDMyFleet

If you use IDMyFleet, our fleet wrap management application, we collect the information you and your team enter there, such as user names and contact details, vehicle details and photos, approvals and project messages. We use it to quote, schedule, produce and install your fleet project and to keep project records. We handle it as described in this Policy, together with any notice shown in the application.

How We Use Information

• To respond to quote requests and project inquiries.
• To prepare estimates, proofs and contracts, and to schedule production and installation.
• To photograph completed work for our portfolio and marketing, unless you opt out in writing under our Standard Project Terms & Conditions.
• To process payment authorizations and invoices and keep a record of them.
• To send resources you requested, such as the Fleet Wrap FAQ or the Care & Cleaning Guide.
• To pass your details to CLVGo and its lending partners when you ask about financing.
• To review job applications.
• To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
• To protect the Site, our forms and our customers from spam, fraud and abuse.
• To send occasional emails about our services where you have asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.

How We Disclose Information

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We disclose it only as described below.

Service providers. Companies that provide services to us receive the personal information they need to do so: Resend (email delivery), Airtable (forms and records, including the Payment Authorization form), Google (analytics, maps, and appointment scheduling if you book a discovery call), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Ashore (design proof review and approval) and our third-party payment service providers (payment processing).

Financing. When you ask about financing or submit a financing inquiry, we pass your contact and project details to CLVGo, CL Visual's financing program, and its lending partners, including LendNav LLC. If you agree on the inquiry form, they may contact you by phone, text, email or mail about your inquiry. Lending partners handle any application under their own privacy notices. You can reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or contact finance@clvisual.com to withdraw email consent.

Text messages. We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Installers. For installations outside our own service area, we share the vehicle, location and scheduling details needed to complete the job with independent certified installers in our network. They use that information to perform the installation.

Legal and business reasons. We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect our rights, property or safety or those of others, or as part of a sale, merger or reorganization of our business.

Cookies and Your Choices

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure Site use. Cloudflare may set cookies needed to deliver and secure the Site. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, pixels or tags on the Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy first and provide any notice or choices the law requires.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout (opens in a new tab). Some features of the Site may not work without cookies.

How Long We Keep Information

• Project records, including estimates, proposals, signed acceptances, inspection photos, proofs, invoices and payment authorizations: for as long as we work with you and 7 years after the project ends, for accounting, tax and warranty purposes.
• Inquiries that do not become projects: 24 months after our last contact.
• Job applications: 12 months after the position is filled, unless you are hired.
• Google Analytics user and event data: 2 months, as configured in our account. Aggregated reports that do not identify individual visitors may be kept longer.
• Hosting and security logs: for the limited period our hosting provider keeps them to operate and secure the Site.

How We Protect Information

We use safeguards suited to the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Site and access to submissions limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Requests

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@clvisual.com or calling 631-464-4526. We will verify your request before acting on it. We may keep information we are required to keep by law, or need for accounting, tax, warranty or contract records, or to resolve disputes, and we will tell you if that applies.

Several U.S. states have comprehensive consumer privacy laws. Whether a law applies depends on the business's size, revenue and how it uses personal information, not only on where a visitor lives. Where one of these laws applies to us, we will honor the rights it provides, and we will update this Policy to describe the request methods, timelines and any appeal process it requires.

Children

The Site is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. We will describe significant changes on this page.
